Hi, I'm Malou and I am full time professional artist. I was born in Denmark and spent my childhood in the northern part of the country near forests, fields and the sea. The inspiration for my paintings is the natural world and landscapes is the predominant theme.
I have exhibited in the United States, Europe and the Middle East and my paintings can be found in various private and corporate collections in Australia, Brazil, Denmark, Canada, England, Egypt, Singapore, Spain and the United States. I have lived in the United Arab Emirates, USA, Egypt and France. Various workshops and courses at home and abroad.
I have been selling my paintings online since 2001 to hundreds of happy collectors around the world.

Arbejdsområder; Akryl, akvarel og olie på lærred og papir. Naturen spiller hovedrollen i billederne som oftest er baseret på skitser lavet i naturen og på rejser. En del malerier er malet helt eller delvist, on location, i det fri - eller som det også kaldes en plein air.
Flere langvarige udlandsophold i USA og Frankrig. Desuden rejser til bl.a. Rom, London, Cairo og New York. Malou's kreative baggrund er hentet på diverse workshops, kurser og hos andre kunstnere gennem de sidste 15 år. Hun har udstillet hos kunstforeninger, firmaer og gallerier i Danmark og USA. Representeret på samlinger i bl.a. Australien, Bralilien, Danmark, Canada, England, Egypten, Singapore, Spanien og USA.
Malou bor og arbejder i Frederikshavn.
